It’s interesting when you want something so bad that it’s an internal, constantly nagging feeling, and all you can do is think about it, how the universe will conspire with you to make that thing a reality. I have experienced such feelings a few times throughout my life thus far and I can tell you that it always comes to pass.

One such moment came about 4 years ago, I had graduated a few years prior with a B.S.B.A Degree in Marketing, had started a marketing company and was bartending on the weekends to stay afloat. I started a marketing company because I wanted to help small businesses grow and didn’t want to work a traditional 9 – 5 all my life.

As I mentioned before it’s interesting how the universe will conspire to make your desires a reality, I remember getting off at 3am Friday and Saturday nights thinking, “God there has got to be a better way than this, please get me out of this job and bless my business so I may run it full time.”

I love the scripture “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7: 7-8 It’s so powerful and so true.

On one particular Sunday the message was about stepping out on faith, it was as if they were speaking directly to me. I proceeded to turn my two weeks’ notice in and have never looked back since, that was four years ago. Has it been an easy journey, not at all, but I wouldn’t change anything I’ve experience for the world. I know it has all made me a better person and I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying my time freedom.

All results are preceded by actions and decisions.  I currently run a traditional business and a network marketing business. Both of which provide the means for me to be in control of my own destiny.  I tried building my home based business the “traditional” way, you know inviting friends and family to a home party or banquet space, I learned quickly that it wasn’t how I wanted to build my business and knew there had to be a better and more efficient way.

Again, seek and you shall find, I eventually discovered a way to build my home business utilizing the internet and it changed everything for me.  Having gained some results, I’ve now decided to share the strategies and systems I learned with other home business owners or people looking to start a home based business.

I can’t guarantee that you’ll have similar results as I’ve had, but it you’re willing to invest in yourself, work hard and are coachable, it’s highly likely that you will see results as well.  My mission is to share with you what’s worked through trainings on my blog as well as products that will help you be successful.

Ultimately it’s up to you jump in with both feet and implement what you learn here.  If you have that internal conflict between what you’re currently doing and what you want to do, then it’s time for you to buckle down and put in the work necessary to realize your dreams.  Home Based Business Owners should dedicate at least 3 years to realize their dream lifestyle and ultimate time freedom.

Building a business is much easier than it used to be especially with the growth of the internet and social media. It’s about knowing how to tap these resources for the benefit of your business, and that’s what you’ll learn throughout our experience together.
